About HELP ANIMALS
The Calisia Animal Help Society – HELP ANIMALS has been in existence since 01.20. 2007
We work to promote humanitarian treatment for animals as well as providing for them the necessary living conditions. We achieve our goals through the following activities:
-Organizing adoptions.
- Creating a network of temporary homes for animals awaiting adoption.
- Direct interventions. In this year we have organized 71 interventions. In few of the cases we have directed a case to the court requesting legal actions against animal ill-treatment.
- Decreasing feral cat population through their sterilization.
- Sterilization of animal given to their adoptive homes.
-Pro-adoption activities: publishing press announcements in Kalisz, Internet announcements.
- Actions promoting the general idea of animal protection.
- Co-operation with other pro-animal organizations in our country and abroad.
Our society does not conduct business activities. We obtain funds for our existence and actions from membership fees and donations.
